Messod Boussidan was admitted to the bar in 1986 after receiving his LL.B. from York University. He has a diverse litigation practice, with particular expertise in matters
of international law and the enforcement of foreign judgments in Canada, including as lead counsel for the successful plaintiffs in Beals v Saldanha, currently the leading decision of the Supreme Court of Canada on the enforcement of foreign judgments. He is also well experienced in securities matters and representing common
interest groups.
Messod is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Advocates’ Society for whom he often volunteers his time to act as duty counsel. Messod has been involved in cases before all levels of court, including the Ontario Court of Appeal regularly and the Supreme Court of Canada.
